PROGRAMS:
Open Fencing : This is your basic membership package allowing you to fence to your heart’s content. Electric scoring equipment will be available. Lessons are on an individual basis with the coach. This program is designed for the general recreational fencer and the individual competitor who wants instruction and fencing on his/her terms and schedule. It is also good for beginners who cannot commit to a formal program.
Beginner’s Program: This is a formal program of introductory fencing instruction, exercises and principles directed specifically towards fencers who are starting out or have little experience (1 year or less). Instruction is in group format with one of the coaches and lasts for about one hour. Some loaner equipment is available.
Adult Beginner’s Program: This program is tailored for the starting adult fencer. Warm-up exercises are combined with the regular beginner program. In addition, the adults receive short individual lessons from Jim.
Peeksill Fencers Club Alliance: An alliance has been formed with Peekskill Fencers for joint activities including saber instruction at WFC. These activities are in their formative stage. Watch for new developments.
Individual Lessons: One-on-one lessons with our coaches.
